Juliana Avendaño García

Communications and marketing

Juliana has a solid background in marketing and communications in the audiovisual and cultural industry. She is responsible for communications and marketing strategies at Borondo Films since 2024, where she leads the promotion of animated films in Colombia.

In parallel since 2022, she is the Communications Coordinator at FIPCA (Federación Iberoamericana de Producción Cinematográfica y Audiovisual), where she has also developed communications strategies and release plans for projects such as Diálogos FIPCA and FORMA. Additionally, since 2023 she has been the Editorial Coordinator of the short story contest “Macondo sí tiene quien le escriba” at the Gabo Foundation.

Juliana is a professional in Film, Television and in Communication Studies from Universidad Jorge Tadeo Lozano.
