Theatrical distribution
Paula founded Borondo Films in 2024 with the desire to expand the circulation of animated films in Colombian theaters. Since then she has distributed titles such as Sirocco and the Kingdom of the Winds, awarded at the Annecy Festival.
With a background in documentary filmmaking, he has developed projects supported by the Colombian Film Development Fund, including LOLE, currently in the final stage, and the international co-production El lobo letón, shot between Buenos Aires, Bogotá and Mexico City.
Since 2020 she leads the programming and audiovisual rights management of Cinema Comfama, and is programmer of the Comfama Animation Film Festival in El Retiro, Antioquia.
In 2024 she was selected as an alumni of the prestigious European workshop EURODOC.
Paula studied Literature at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, Film and Television at Universidad Nacional de Colombia and completed a Masters in Media Arts in Austria, Denmark and Hong Kong.
